A new year always brings a sense of possibility.
At Crisanthemum Studios, January isn’t about rushing forward — it’s about setting intention, staying
curious, and making space for what wants to grow. After a meaningful first year on Main Street in
downtown Pilot Mountain, we’re stepping into 2026 with excitement, creativity, and a whole lot to look
forward to.
Here’s a little glimpse of what’s ahead.
Creativity will continue to be at the heart of everything we do in 2026.
Our glaze-your-own section will always be here — ready whenever inspiration strikes. Whether you’re stopping in for a quiet creative moment or bringing friends along for a shared experience, this space
remains a constant invitation to slow down and make something personal.
This year, we’re excited to introduce special glaze-your-own Blitzes — limited-time creative experiences that add an extra layer of fun and experimentation. These moments are designed to invite play, curiosity, and a fresh approach to glazing, offering something new to look forward to throughout the year.
Our beloved Pen Friends will continue to grow in 2026, with new launches sprinkled throughout the year. These small, joyful companions have become a favorite, and we can’t wait to introduce the next wave.
Each new Pen Friend brings personality, charm, and a reminder that creativity doesn’t have to be serious
to be meaningful.
Behind the scenes, there’s a lot happening.
We’re testing glazes and refining what will become our 2026 glaze combinations. This process takes time — and that’s part of the magic. Every test tile, every kiln opening, every small adjustment helps shape what you’ll see on the shelves this year.
Alongside new glazes, we’ll be introducing new handmade products — thoughtful pieces designed to be used, loved, and woven into everyday life.
Our instructors have been hard at work dreaming up new classes and workshops for 2026 — experiences that balance learning with creativity and joy.
Whether you’re looking to try something new, build skills, or simply spend time making with others, there
will be opportunities throughout the year to gather, explore, and grow. Each class is designed to be
welcoming, engaging, and rooted in the belief that creativity belongs to everyone.
2026 isn’t about doing more — it’s about doing things with intention.
It’s about creativity that feels accessible. About community that feels welcoming. About handmade
moments that feel meaningful.
We’re grateful to step into this new year with you — and we can’t wait to see what you create, what you
discover, and how you make this space your own.
Stay tuned. There’s so much more to come.
