About Crisanthemum Studios
Located in the heart of historic downtown Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, Crisanthemum Studios is a working pottery studio where handmade stoneware is crafted with purpose, creativity, and everyday living in mind. We specialize in wheel-thrown mugs, soup mugs, everyday cups, serving bowls, kitchen pottery, flower frogs, planters, custom logo pottery, and artisan gifts that are designed to be used and enjoyed for years to come.

More than a pottery studio, Crisanthemum Studios is a creative destination. Visitors can shop our handcrafted collections, enjoy our Glaze Your Own pottery experience, participate in pottery workshops, or collaborate with us on custom logo pottery for businesses, organizations, and wholesale partners across the United States and all around the country.

Every piece is handmade in our studio with the belief that functional pottery should be both beautiful and durable—created not just for special occasions, but for everyday moments shared around the table, at work, and at home.

Cris Tadesse
"Find a hobby..." Touching clay for the first time changed my life.
It ignited a passion in me that has become a metaphor for healing, building, and growth. Like clay, we slump, spin, crack, and break; creativity is the spark that puts our hands to work to put it back together.

Like clay, we are formed, reshaped, and made to be useful and beautiful. With clay, I found a hobby that healed me and inspired me to build a business and grow a community that thrives on the connection that feeds us.
