About the event
Join us at Page’s Books & Coffee this September for a truly unique creative experience blending art and storytelling.
You’ll begin by selecting a handcrafted black pottery piece from Crisanthemum Studios. Then, in the spirit of kintsugi — the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold — we’ll break the piece and guide you through mending it with shimmering gold seams. In kintsugi, cracks are not hidden, but celebrated as part of an object’s history — a beautiful reminder that our imperfections can become our greatest strengths.
This special evening will be enriched by the presence of Cheryl Wilder, a North Carolina–based author of two poetry books, certified coach, and catalytic speaker. Cheryl’s work explores healing from past trauma through the beauty of nature, with emotional depth and poetic insight reminiscent of Ada Limón and Maggie Smith.
Come for the art, stay for the conversation — and leave with a one-of-a-kind…
