Join Crisanthemum Ceramics and Cosmic Wander on August 24th from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm EST for our ‘Carve Your Intentions’ Glaze Event! This event will take place at Cosmic Wander, located at 1111 West Pine Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030.

About the event
For this event, we will be carving and glazing a sage smudge plate. A smudge plate is used for the burning of dried or fresh herbs for the purpose of cleansing a space to prepare it for spiritual or daily activities. This is a first-of-its-kind event, where you can carve your intentions into hard leather clay (semi-dry clay that has not been fired yet) to totally customize your bowl for your own personal practice. After you carve your intentions, you can glaze your bowl with a variety of colors of underglaze for a bright and decorative finish.
We will have Gracie's Closet teas you can try at this event, but feel free to bring snacks!
The cost of this class is $65 per person, with the final product pick up on August 31st, just in time for the August Supermoon! Space is limited to 15, so sign up now!
